Chanmouny means moonlight, and Samouny is sooo moony!A dunesfolk lalafell, Chanmouny ended up in Limsa Lominsa after losing his memory in the calamity, being drawn to the sea since birth.He's fascinated by shiny jewellery and trinkets, such as pearls, gold and glass shaped by the sea (seaglass) and has been training as a goldsmith to learn to shape them too.His connection to magic has always thrummed through him, and he's still trying to discover what it all means for him: magic, the sea, and the moon.He runs a gift shop on the coast with a couple other artisans, and moonlights as a bard with his friends, cherishing them and adventuring with them as his own family is no longer around.

He's absent and forgetful in conversations, but warm towards friends and strangers, and sometimes remembers the most unexpected things. Small issues can frustrate him to the point of childishness - another straw on the back of his memory loss - but give him another minute and he'll reign it back in.Connections:

Sailors on the foreshore had been backing Chanmouny's shop, helping him relocate, build, and funding expenses. Their ulterior motives outside of generosity continued to escape Chan's notice.Meanwhile, Chan had been warmly recruiting other artisans interested in occupying the free shop with their own wares, and so began their entrepreneurial friendships.
--Several months later, Shoppe has grown into a thriving place; the home and workplace to a rag-tag group of various peoples. Despite, or because of, some recent hardships, strong bonds have been forged, and life goes on.--
